Imagine if Brock Lesnar were to return to the UFC... and fail. Crazy, right? Only, in his late 30s and out of the fight game for years, plus with single-discipline fighters struggling more than ever, it's a very real possibility. In fact, Lesnar will very likely struggle if he returns to MMA. Yes, there are fights he can win, big ones. Mir, Schaub, Big Nog - he'd probably make short work of them. However, all it takes in MMA is one well-timed punch (or a lucky one, if you prefer). That will end your night, especially in the heavyweight division. Now picture him coming back having tanked. Despite the losses in his first UFC run, Lesnar still came back to the WWE as a former heavyweight champion. If he fails outright in his second run? Well, good luck with that. It won't be pretty.
