25 Greatest WWE Raw Moments Ever

14. Ric Flair 'Retires' (March 31st, 2008)

As long as you've got the stomach for an awful lot of Flair tears (even more than usual), Ric Flair's retirement ceremony the night after his emotional WrestleMania defeat to Shawn Michaels is a perfectly paced public stroll down memory lane for 'The Nature Boy'.

He took the shine off it himself upon deciding to don the tights in TNA just two years later, but WWE can't be blamed for that decision after transforming their closing segment into a giant goodbye for an industry icon and clear hero to most that ever laced boots.

Curated by Triple H, the parade of legendary on-screen friends and foes that trip over themselves in tribute to 'Slick Ric' even extended to off-air acknowledgments from an in-character Undertaker and Vince McMahon himself.
