5. Still Unconvinced

Fans of AEW's women's division would've found a lot to like from Nyla Rose vs. Leyla Hirsch. The latter was especially impressive, and definitely didn't harm her chances of someday being involved in the title picture herself. For now though, All Elite fancy rebooking Rose as a monster threat to Britt Baker.

It's still unconvincing.

Baker's confident promos and star quality have upped the ante in the division as of late, and there's a worry that Nyla will struggle to match that. Being honest, their impending feud has the air of 'Old School AEW vs. New School' about it, which is certainly weird to say for a promotion that's only two years old.

It does show how far things have come however. Britt is the best thing about the female ranks - she stands head and shoulders above everybody else, and it remains to be seen if putting Rose back in the title hunt will work or simply expose her as less than D.M.D.
