This week's episode of Impact Wrestling marked their debut on Tuesday nights with the move to AXS TV, but it wasn't a proper episode. Instead, we were treated to two exclusive matches that were taped before Bound For Glory officially started, alongside a whole host of talking segments that focused on the fallout of the aforementioned pay-per-view event.
In terms of the two matches that aired, they were both brilliant encounters, especially in the case of that epic six man tag team match main event as The Rascalz battled the Team AAA team of Dr Wagner Jr., Aero Star, and Taurus. In addition, we had Madison Rayne taking on the recently signed NXT star Shotzi Blackheart before she officially heads to the black and gold brand in another decent contest.
The talking segments were often tedious to sit through, but it's entirely understandable as to why this happened, which we'll get to later on. Some of them were in fact used to set up matches for next week's official premiere episode, including a World Championship rematch between Brian Cage and Sami Callihan that will take place inside a steel cage.
All in all, it wasn't that bad of an episode, thanks to that incredible main event bout. Let's get to it...
