7 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT (Sep 30)

Ahead of TakeOver 31, NXT turns the heat up on Finn Balor and Kyle O'Reilly.

There used to be an (admittedly very unscientific) expression that, in some parts of central London, you're never more than 6ft away from a rat. While in the year of our lord 2020, that's more likely to apply to betting shops or Morley's Chicken, all the way across the pond in Full Sail, you're now never more than 6 days away from the latest NXT spectacular.

With TakeOver 31 sneaking up on you quicker than a second pandemic wave, NXT has had its hands full trying to throw together enough big-feel matches to fill the card. Both main championships were decided with enormous scrambles in lieu of any natural rivalries, while everything else has come together with a minimum of fuss and logic.

So under such circumstances, what can one expect from a go-home show? Well, the Mirror-Universe Garganos are teaming up to take on their respective opponents, and we've been promised a sit-down interview between Balor and O'Reilly to really get to the heart of their rivalry. Presumably, with us entering October, the weather's now too cold for the traditional parking lot brawl. Oh well!
