1. Will Lesnars Walkout Affect World Title Storyline?
The biggest story last week had to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar being present at Raw last week and not being used because he walked out. Rumors flew about why he left prematurely, with a contract dispute being the likely culprit. Unfortunately for WWE, even though he didnt appear, Lesnar being physically at Raw last week counted as one of his limited appearances. That means theres one less appearance to help build up the main event of WrestleMania XXXI. A bigger question that remains is whether Lesnars walkout will impact the title picture during this home stretch. Have things been smoothed out? While theres nothing to indicate that Lesnar would not be 100% professional and do the honors to Roman Reigns if that is the end plan that is one speculation that has arisen. If Lesnar was supposed to appear this week and again doesnt, how will WWE compensate. WWE is in a tenuous spot here. Their world title is around the waist of a part-timer, and the anointed challenger is facing a sizable backlash from fans. Any further disruption to the already-mangled storyline will only make things worse. In short, last weeks walkout couldnt have come at a worse time (save for actually happening at WrestleMania). We will see how the main event picture continues to develop on Monday night.
