When Apollo Crews first debuted with WWE, Dave Meltzer made a joke about Vince McMahon calling him up soon. No doubt about it, Vinnie Mac is certain to be in awe of Apollo's muscles. He's also a talented in-ring worker, so there's definitely a lot he could offer the main roster. A Rumble debut could be appealing to McMahon, with Crews coming in and making an impact. His fast paced and high power style would be well suited to cleaning house. They'd then give him a good ten minutes, before having him eliminated, perhaps by another powerhouse like Brock Lesnar. The question is, would it be too much, too soon? Crews only debuted with NXT back in August. That said, he has done a lot in the time, including fighting for the NXT championship. Plus, WWE could just him as a one off appearance at the Rumble, giving him and the crowd a taste of what a main run could be like. He'd then return to NXT and complete his time on that brand.
