Let’s give it up to WWE for stringing together multiple good efforts with Raw and PPVs, giving fans something to cheer about.

Raw followed SummerSlam and managed to drop a few huge surprises to really give fans a show. Raw launched a couple new storylines, carried others forward and most importantly, made sense.

Yes, it’s disappointing that Raw writers still have the Viking Experience rag-dolling much smaller men months after they should have moved on to more established teams. And there are a couple things called out in the downs where we don’t know how to rate something overall, but chose to place it there.

But this episode of Raw should be remembered for using two singles matches to really get two wrestlers over: Andrade and Cedric Alexander. Andrade battled Rey Mysterio and won convincingly, while Alexander would lose his match but showed fans he had the goods.

And of course, this episode will definitely be remembered for welcoming back Sasha Banks, whose four-month hiatus from WWE finally ended with The Boss making a triumphant – and shocking – return.

A lot happened Monday night, so this is a great opportunity to get caught up on what landed and what crashed and burned.

Let’s get to it…

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
