AEW Double Or Nothing 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen
8. Thunder Rosa Fends Off Serena Deeb
Here's another women's match that's sorely lacking in the 'interesting build' department. That's a shame, 'cause Thunder Rosa deserved better than to be stuck in some 'B' level program heading into AEW's biggest pay-per-view of the year.
Alas, here we are.
Serena Deeb's interminable five-minute challenge skits did little to present her as some mega-threat to the AEW Women's Title either, so both ladies are very much up against it heading into the weekend's show. They'll be plonked squarely in the midcard and expected to produce the goods despite Khan treating their rivalry with some alarming apathy for weeks now.
Like Jade Cargill, Thunder should fend off her challenge and hopefully get something more meaningful on TV over the next few episodes. Christ, it does not sit well to report that neither women's match at Double Or Nothing is essential.
In fact, both are pretty much skippable and should probs have happened on Dynamite or Rampage.
