AEW Stars Mock In-Fighting Rumours
The Young Bucks' "new bio" took aim at recent AEW in-fighting rumours.
The Young Bucks have mocked recent reports of in-fighting between AEW's EVPs.
PW Torch are reporting that Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and Matt & Nick Jackson are currently in the midst of some in-fighting. The report also stated that the AEW EVPs aren't currently on speaking terms.
At a glance, this rumour seems to carry some weight as Cody hasn't been massively involved with AEW's Elite storylines in recent times, going back as far as last year's Double or Nothing PPV.
Yet, The Young Bucks appear to have made light of the whole situation, if their latest "New bio!" on Twitter is anything to go by. Said bio explains that the duo are "Currently not on speaking terms.", a clear dig at the aforementioned report. Along with the Jackson brothers' update, Cody also opted to retweet the "New bio!" post, seemingly highlighting that he's in on the joke too.
Even if this turns out to be a whole lot of nothing, it is still interesting to note that Cody has spent a considerable amount of time away from The Elite on AEW television over the last year. Instead, Rhodes has been more occupied with his own Nightmare Family drama, with the star set to face off against The Factory's Anthony Ogogo at Double or Nothing 2021.
