AEW's Kenny Omega Shoots On "Weird WWE Stans"

Kenny Omega thought the 'Last Man Standing' match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens was really well done, but he didn't appreciate feedback on his appraisal from "weird WWE stans".

The AEW star was drawn into the Royal Rumble chatter by fans comparing how KO and Reigns used a golf cart to several All Elite matches from last year. Never one to shy away, Omega gave "props to all involved" for their work, then agreed that the spot was hardly something his company had done first.

Then, after receiving a bit of backlash from WWE loyalists, Kenny tweeted that people "trying to p*ss [him] off" should criticise a video game he's passionate about instead of pro wrestling. He ended the tweet by saying, "I don't care much about wrestling opinions. Those are yours. Have them".

The current AEW World Champ refused to let anyone agitate WWE vs. AEW sentiments. Or, at least, he just wouldn't reply to those tweets. That's smart, and it's already something Omega has broached in media interviews anyway.

Can't a dude just kick back and watch the Royal Rumble in peace?
