WWE's top table was emptier than usual on Monday Night.

Vince McMahon arrived late to last night's edition of Monday Night Raw, with regular head honchos Triple H and Kevin Dunn not in attendance at all, according to PWInsider.com.

A chaotic evening on-screen was received with mixed responses from the fanbase after the same three-hour show was host to a couple of outstanding matches but some incredibly hokey angles and the outlandish and absurd Lana/Bobby Lashley wedding.

It was initially reported that all three were absent, but The Chairman arrived just as the show was about to go live on USA Network. The story noted that John Laurinaitis had ran rehearsals with Michael Hayes serving as lead producer for the evening's matches.

This isn't the first time the major names have been absent from the flagship, in contrast to McMahon's prior philosophy of never wanting to not be in attendance for his A-show. There may more of this to follow in 2020 - McMahon's relaunched XFL kicks off on February 8th and may well take up substantial amounts of his time if he wishes for it to exorcise the demons of the original 2001 incarnation.
