Big Number One Contender's Match Set For AEW Dynamite Next Week

Last night's Bash at the Beach brought several major AEW developments.

Next week's AEW Dynamite will see PAC and Jon Moxley wrestle for the right to challenge for Chris Jericho's AEW Championship after both were victorious in their respective semi-finals in the promotion's mini-tournament.

PAC bullied and ground his way past a game Darby Allin in the main event, while Moxley overcame Inner Circle sh*thead Sammy Guevara. 'The Purveyor of Violence' will be walking into the bout with a huge disadvantage though, as Chris Jericho used a spike from his leather jacket to stab Mox in the eye following an Inner Circle beatdown.

Dynamite closed with the duo staring each other down, with Moxley having vowed to beat PAC despite his ailments.

A big Tag Team Championship bout pitting SoCal Uncensored against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega has also been booked. This came about when Omega and Page won a four-way opener featuring The Young Bucks, Proud and Powerful, and Best Friends.

On top of all of this, Cody accepted MJF's outlandish stipulations to confirm their upcoming Revolution match, meaning 'The American Nightmare' can't put his hands on his rival before the pay-per-view, must take 10 lashings from MJF's belt on live TV, and will now face Wardlow in AEW's first ever cage match on the 19 February episode of Dynamite. Ouch.
