Bully Ray Close To Re-Signing With TNA

While Ray is reportedly close to a new deal, there is quite a large catch.

It was originally reported some time ago that Bully Ray had finished up with TNA Wrestling as his contract had ran out. Since that time, much speculation had arisen about where Bully Ray would end up. It€™s now being reported that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion will be re-signing with the company shortly. However, there is a bit of a catch. When the subject of Bully Ray returning to WWE was brought up awhile back, it was apparently made clear that WWE were not interested in bringing in the former World Tag Team Champion. It also seemed that Ray was leaving TNA because the two parties could not come to terms on a new deal -- most likely an issue of dates and money. Now, however, reports are flooding in that Bully Ray is expected to re-join the TNA roster, albeit for a very brief period of time. Ray€™s new deal would only last for two major dates. The first of which would see him return to active competition during the upcoming Impact tapings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The plan is to have him team with Devon and take on the Wolves and Hardy Boys for one last contest -- finishing out their three match series. The second and final date of Bully Ray€™s new deal would seem him make an appearance Bound for Glory on October 12th of this year. The event is being held in conjunction with Keiji Mutoh€™s Wrestle-1 promotion at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. It€™s unlikely that Ray will compete on the Bound for Glory pay-per-view. Instead, he and Devon will be inducted into TNA€™s Hall of Fame -- joining previous inductees Sting and Kurt Angle. Coincidentally, Devon€™s deal is set to expire on October 12th, as well. It€™s still unknown where Bully Ray will go once he is finally done with TNA. However, we will continue to provide updates as they become available. What do you think of Bully Ray€™s brief return to TNA, and where should he go from there? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
