Chris Jericho hit Twitter after AEW's latest ratings triumph over WWE NXT on Thursday, trolling WWE's black-and-gold brand with a gif of the wacky Keith Lee fireball angle from this week's show.

Here's what 'Le Champion' posted:-

'The Demo God' has now pinned this to the top of his Twitter page, because trolling is his business, and business is good.

AEW strolled to another considerable ratings victory over NXT on Wednesday night. Though both shows experienced declines in the key 18.49 demographic and overall viewership, Dynamite doubled the WWE product's demo number, trouncing NXT 0.32 to 0.16. AEW also beat WWE in overall viewership - 792,000 vs. 619,000.

Dynamite has now finished in the top ten shows on the night for seven consecutive weeks. NXT, meanwhile, finished at number 65 this time around.

AEW President Tony Khan was in a celebratory mood himself:-

Jericho's tweet is designed to p*ss people off. If you let it get to you, you're letting him win. Such is the point of the entire 'Demo God' character: it's a troll move taken to the extreme with t-shirts, catchphrases, and everything else, but it's grounded in reality. 50+ remains the only demographic in which NXT is able to beat AEW regularly.
