If those fan choruses end up being the final referencing of CM Punk on WWE television then it was a memorable way for his character to go out - still longed for, still loved, his name still called out for as the broadcast faded to black. The end screen didn't just mark the end of Raw, it marked the end of CM Punk's WWE story. If he was going to return to WWE in time for a Wrestlemania 30 match then it needed to happen in Chicago.
