Both CM Punk and The Rock himself have publicly offered their thoughts on Simone Johnson's Performance Center arrival after WWE confirmed the story earlier this week.

Posting on his Instagram after the news broke, 'The Great One' offered the following miniature missive; "Dreams ain’t just for dreamers.Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson on officially signing her wrestling contract with @WWE @WWENXT and on her way to becoming the first ever 4th generation WWE athlete. Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn & own. So proud. Live your dream. Let’s work."

2013 opponent CM Punk was also moved to remark on the fourth generation star making her move into the industry. Speaking on last night's edition of WWE Backstage during conversation with Charlotte Flair, he said; “The only person I think Simone Johnson can relate to is you...Somebody who is the daughter of a living legend, that comes in, now she’s signed to NXT, and I think you could be a tremendous help to her."

Flair responded, noting that; “It’s not easy...A lot of people are gonna think it’s easy, and in some ways it is easier...you grew up around the business, people know your dad, they know your family. But there comes a lot of criticism...It’s a lot, and you just have to block out the noise, and stay true to you, and you have to work twice as hard, and you can never take anything for granted.
