CM Punk Shoots On WWE's Current Roster Togetherness

What did Punk have to say about roster unity?

CM Punk said WWE's roster "would never ever unify and stick together for anything" during a fan Q&A session on Twitter.

The former World Champion was responding to someone's question about whether or not WWE's locker room could unite for change the way athletes in the NBA and NFL have. Punk doesn't think that's even a possibility, and shot the notion down immediately.

Recent NBA Playoff games have been postponed due to player protests, but Punk says that could never happen in pro wrestling, or at least in WWE.

Punk has been outspoken before about the culture that exists inside the company. In fact, when he shocked everyone by returning on the secondary Backstage show late-last year, he said that he was prone to 'changing the culture'.

It appears that wouldn't extend to rallying any troops together to unite and protest if the roster shared thoughts on a serious real-world issue.

Another fan asked who Punk would like to wrestle in WWE if he had the chance. His reply was "Fergal" - NXT's Finn Bálor is "Fergal". Just like the roster unifying, it's unlikely that'll ever happen.
