Drew McIntyre Wants A Match With THIS WWE Wrestler
Former WWE Champ Drew McIntyre would love to mix it with this SmackDown star.
Drew McIntyre vs. Cesaro would be awesome.
The big Scot certainly thinks so. McIntyre told Bleacher Report that he's delighted to see the Swiss star getting a decent push over on SmackDown, and he can't wait for the day when he and Cesaro get inside a WWE ring together.
It's incredible to think that the pair have hardly ever crossed paths during their many years in the company; Drew wants to put that right by wrestling the workhorse ASAP. The former WWE Champion, who is in line to challenge Bobby Lashley for that belt again at WrestleMania 37, "can just tell" from watching Cesaro's matches that they'd do some seriously good business together.
Few fans will have any arguments with that.
Cesaro is the kind of worker who enhances those he shares ring time with, and McIntyre is hardly a slouch himself. Drew admits he's keeping a close eye on Cesaro's Friday-night feud with Seth Rollins to see if there's any scope to work with the former down the road.
Of course, Drew would have to move to SmackDown or Cesaro to Raw before WWE could make the series McIntyre craves a reality.
