Reigning AAA Tag-Team Champs and AEW stars FTR don't like when wrestling fans criticise the company for signing ex-WWE wrestlers.

Cash Wheeler and Dax Hardwood defended All Elite boss Tony Khan's signing policy during a new interview with TSN. The pair, who routinely work some of the best tag matches around, said that companies should endeavour to sign a mix of experienced and younger wrestlers - that's especially true when they're producing weekly TV.

Harwood said it "boggles [his] mind" when people get "upset" about former WWE workers coming through AEW's doors. Wheeler echoed that sentiment by saying "they’re all signed for a reason". He's similarly baffled that anyone would bash Khan for assembling the best roster of talent he possibly can.

Cash added that AEW is "signing the people that need to be signed and wrestling is better because of it". It's hard to argue with that, but some fans do believe that All Elite must be careful not to gobble up every performer Vince McMahon releases.

It's an arguable point.

Dax closed by saying only signing independent wrestlers would be "like the blind leading the blind" when it comes to working TV.
