Impact Wrestling's latest signing brings an aura of professionalism.

Brian Myers has officially signed a contract with Impact Wrestling.

The news was revealed on Myers' Twitter account on Friday evening, where he showed a glimpse of his new contract already signed by Ed Hordholm, the President of Impact's parent company, Anthem.

After initially appearing for the promotion in 2015 as part of the GFW invasion angle, where he became a one-time World Tag Team Champion alongside Cameron Grimes (then-Trevor Lee), Myers officially debuted with Impact on the 11 August edition of Impact Wrestling.

Answering Eddie Edwards' World Championship open challenge, 'The Most Professional Wrestler' has since gone on to receive some seriously tedious booking from Impact management. Meaningless rivalry after meaningless rivalry is all Myers has done in his first proper Impact stint - not the sort of start we expected of the former Curt Hawkins post-WWE.

Now that he's officially signed to the company, however, perhaps now will be the time for Scott D'Amore and Don Callis to fully invest in making Brian Myers a franchise player of Impact Wrestling. All the tools are there, he just needs the trigger to be pulled.
