Vince McMahon loves a bit of toilet humour, but it remains to be seen if injecting comedy into an otherwise serious feud is smart; the entire rivalry has hinged on Hardy facing his personal demons, admitting he's an alcoholic and trying to redeem himself for 'one last run' longtime fans can be proud of.

This pee-soaked story beat smacked of old-school angles like Big Show getting the sh*ts thanks to Eddie Guerrero or The Revival putting 'Ucy Hot' all over their genitals during a feud with The Usos.

Perhaps it's ill-placed to criticise WWE for running toilet humour fare like this - it's not like the company haven't set a precedent for that sort of thing in the past. It's rib-tickling sports entertainment which some will giggle at and others will despise.

Besides, it's no sillier than anything else that's been going on in the pro wrestling world recently.
