Major Title Match Set For Next Week's WWE Raw

WWE set up a Women's Tag-Team Title match for next week's Raw on Monday's episode.

A recorder-playing (?!) Kairi Sane and Asuka laid out the challenge in an earlier backstage segment before Sasha Banks accepted on behalf of her and reigning SmackDown Women's Champ Bayley. That bout, Kabuki Warriors vs. Banks and Bayley will go down next week.

The program also included singles wins for Sane (over Sasha via DQ) and Asuka (over Bayley). That, blatantly, was booking designed to keep fans guessing over who might come out with the belts. For the record, next week's Raw is the go home episode before 19 July's renamed 'The Horror Show at Extreme Rules' pay-per-view.

Banks is set to collide with Asuka for the Raw Women's Title at Extreme Rules, and Bayley will defend her SmackDown belt against Nikki Cross on the same card.

Admittedly, WWE are doing a good job of keeping the possibility for title changes open. The so-called 'Golden Role Models' could lose their tag titles on Raw, but gain some more gold the following Sunday. Or, they could lose everything and finally splinter off into a feud of their own in time for SummerSlam.
