Major WWE Star Set To Return On Monday's Raw

Edge will make his first WWE appearance since October's Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia on Monday's edition of Raw.

The 'Rated-R Superstar' has been announced for the upcoming flagship, although it's not crystal clear what the legend will be doing. WWE must be hoping that his presence alone helps bolster the ratings/pop a good quarter hour - it's also likely that Edge will launch headfirst into a brand new feud on the red brand, or maybe even kickstart his road towards January's Royal Rumble.

Don't be shocked if this is one of those 'I've got one last shot at this' stories heading into WrestleMania 38 season.

The company has announced a couple of big time matches for the episode too. Both Finn Bálor vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens vs. Big E (in a non-title bout) have been confirmed. Surely WWE don't plan on continuing Edge's rivalry with Seth going forwards?

Again, don't rule that out. There's even a chance that the icon will sneak his way into some sort of multi-man WWE Title match on the upcoming Day 1 show early next year.
