Lesnar's attempted Money In The Bank cash-in may not go to plan.

Matt Riddle was one of NXT TakeOver: 25's most valuable players this past weekend, as him and Roderick Strong starred in a barn-storming opening bout, with 'The Original Bro' taking the victory after close to 15 minutes of bruising, hard-hitting action.

If recent reports are to be believed, this win could set him up for a main event clash with new NXT Champion Adam Cole at the next TakeOver event. Such endeavours might not be Riddle's immediate priority, though, as it looks like the 33-year-old has his eyes set on an even bigger target.

Riddle tweeted the following in response to the news that Brock Lesnar would be cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on tonight's WWE Raw:-

Not only that, but TakeOver's aftermath saw Riddle reiterated his oft-stated desire to retire 'The Beast Incarnate' in an interview with SI.com. He then took things a step further by stating the following: "I heard Brock's cashing in on Monday. They're paying me enough, I could buy a plane ticket. I could be there on Monday, we'll see. But no matter where I go, we're going to have some fun along the way."

A new layer of intrigue for Lesnar's impending cash-in, then, even if there's a strong chance Riddle is working the internet.
