NXT UK Wrestler Quits
Jazzy Gabert has had enough.
After signing with NXT UK last January, Jazzy Gabert has now decided not to extend her contract and - according to her Twitter - she is now a 'free agent'.
In her 12 months with the UK iteration of the black and yellow brand, Gabert hasn't exactly done anything of real note - besides from being Jinny's enforcer on the show.
Clearly sensing she has a brighter future elsewhere, Gabert took to Instagram to announce that 'I will press the RESET button!! I will be OFFLINE for a short while! Need a change! Will change!'
Stifled by the clear lack of care given to the UK based show - unless a Takeover is on the horizon - Gabert definitely has options outside of the company and could possibly add another layer of muscle to AEW's women's division.
There's no news yet as to where she will eventually end up or even if she'll continue on as a wrestler, but when Gabert does finally re-appear she could be donning a whole new look.
In that same Instagram post, she mentioned that 'Second one, which I look most forward too is changing my look! And I change my profession…one came to an end and one is rising like a Phoenix. Watch out for it! Thank you for being on this journey.'
Is she alluding to another run as either an MMA fighter or powerlifter? She has a decent history in either, so at this point it's anyone's guess.
