The date for IMPACT Wrestling's 2021 Slammiversary pay-per-view is currently slated to be Saturday, 17 July and will air live from Nashville, per a new report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Although an official venue hasn't yet been announced, IMPACT did tease a different house in their trailer, having held every show since last year's Rebellion at Nashville's empty Skyway Studios. Whether or not this is the case, alongside some sort of physical audience, remains to be seen.

Not only does this fall the day before WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, as it did last year, but this 17 July date means IMPACT will essentially have first dibs of bringing in the recently-released WWE talents. Their ninety-day no-compete clauses end on the Wednesday before - 14 July - meaning they're free to appear at Slammiversary if IMPACT wish to do so.

They teased a bunch in their aforementioned trailer; Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green, Mickie James, Andrade, and the IIconics were all hyped, alongside Japanese stars Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada, and The Great Muta. Like they did in 2020, IMPACT are taking full advantage of WWE's mass cuts.

No matches have yet been announced for the pay-per-view, but expect a Kenny Omega main event.
