Report: Ronda Rousey's Outbrusts Are NOT Building To WWE Return

Ronda Rousey was the talk of the internet this past weekend, as the former Raw Women's Champion torched the "f*cking ungrateful" WWE fanbase not only for not appreciating her while she was around, but expediting her (temporary?) exit from the wrestling business.

Her comments led to immediate speculation on a WWE comeback, because what better way to build a heel return than by whipping the fanbase into a frenzy? This doesn't seem to be the case, however, with Dave Meltzer writing in Sunday's Figure Four Online Daily Update that while Rousey's words and the fiery responses from several women on the WWE roster suggests a return, 'Rowdy' isn't building to one at the moment.

However, Meltzer notes that he does expect her to return to WWE eventually, having previously stated that she'll likely be on next year's WrestleMania 37 card.

Rousey posted the following to Instagram on Saturday night, suggesting that she's working:-

This is, of course, a reference to a famous Hulk Hogan tweet from 2011, brother.

The likes of Lana, Alexa Bliss, and Nia Jax have all criticised Rousey's words in recent days, though Shayna Baszler and now Mark Henry have leapt to her defence, with 'The World's Strongest Man' putting her over on Busted Open Radio.
