WWE's new leadership team is smitten with Finn Balor, who could be set for a major boost in the promotion.

WrestleVotes reported as much on Thursday. "Significant plans" are seemingly in the works for Balor, who can currently be found leading The Judgment Day on Raw. The veteran is reportedly a big favourite of WWE's new leadership team and while there's no word on what, exactly, these "significant plans" are, fans should expect him to occupy a major role going forward.

Balor is presently aligned with fellow Judgment Day members Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio on Monday nights. The group has been embroiled in a feud with Edge and Rey Mysterio, on whom Dominik turned at Clash at the Castle earlier this month, joining The Judgment Day in the process.

Although Finn historically struggled for main roster traction under Vince McMahon's leadership, WWE's new head of creative, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, has always booked him like a big deal. His initially NXT run from 2014 to 2016 saw him installed as the face of the brand. Later, after a wonky main roster stretch, Balor returned, turning heel with his 'Prince' gimmick, harking back to his pre-WWE days.
