Ryback Tweets That He's Leaving WWE

The Big Guy claims he's going away in a cryptic tweet that's since been deleted.

Ryback was, at one time, thought to become the new face of the WWE. Shortly after his debut, he was thrust onto the main stage against stars like CM Punk, John Cena, and the Shield. He was even dubbed a €œPaul Heyman Guy€ for a short period of time, but it never really seemed to stick. Now, the Big Guy has been relegated to the mid-card, competing in numerous tag team matches each week -- along with another former €œHeyman Guy€, Curtis Axel. Still, the RybAxel duo has proved to be entertaining -- getting themselves over as heels fans can also laugh at. It€™s well known that Ryback often tweets some strange things, and even has an affinity for sending out and quickly deleting his tweets. He nearly got in trouble many months ago after tweeting an onslaught of controversial remarks. The Big Guy then quickly deleted all of his tweets to avoid internet persecution. It seems that Ryback is at it again. Just yesterday, he tweeted €œGoing away for a while to get some stuff fixed. Have not been myself for quite some time. P.S. Sorry Punk.€ Paired with that tweet was an image composed with WWE action figures. It featured Ryback standing atop a platform with Punk lying on the ground next to an unbroken table. Of course, the tweet has since been deleted, adding to its cryptic nature. There has been no official word in regard to Ryback taking time off to heal, have surgery, or just sit at home. At this time, no one is quite sure how to take the tweet. It would seem that Ryback is indicating he will be out for awhile, but given his shaky history with twitter -- including tweeting that he was released back in January, when he wasn€™t -- this could all be a ruse by the Big Guy.
The other alarming thing about the tweet is the fact that Ryback mentions CM Punk -- who to the best of our knowledge has not been mentioned by any other WWE superstar since he walked out on the company. Furthermore, the photo seems to be a sly reference to a time when Ryback botched putting Punk through a table on an episode of Raw. Essentially, no one is sure what to make of Ryback€™s recent cryptic tweet -- as is often the case with the Big Guy. It is very possible that Ryback could be walking away from the company for sometime, whatever the reason may be. It€™s also always possible that this is just another case of Ryback€™s usual shenanigans. Stay tuned for further updates on the situation and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
