Sami Zayn Advertised For WWE NXT UK Tour

Return at NXT Takeover London looks likely.

WWE are advertising Sami Zayn for all NXT dates on the UK tour, including the NXT Takeover London special taping. An in-ring return would seem likely, with dark matches on the tour dates and his televised comeback at the special. The 31 year old has been out injured since May, with a badly hurt shoulder. It had been an issue for some time, eventually being further exacerbated in a Raw match with John Cena. Zayn then worked his last match at NXT Takeover Unstoppable against Kevin Owens. There had been some speculation that he could return straight to the main roster to continue that feud with Owens, but it now looks like he'll be doing further time in NXT. Owens is currently busy with Dean Ambrose, but it could still make sense for Zayn to go up in January and continue his feud with K.O. Originally, he was due to be on Raw full time this year, but the injury put a stop to that. If he can just stay injury free, he should have a bright future with WWE, with his elite in-ring capabilities and natural babyface persona. A fully fit Sami Zayn in 2016 will absolutely be a star to watch out for.
