The first match that Samoa Joe wrestled for the WWE NXT television cameras airs tonight on the WWE Network. The June 10 episode, which was actually taped back on May 21, features Joe taking on Scott Dawson. WWE is hyping up the match with a video on their official YouTube page. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GitXFKFTAPU Other matches scheduled to air tonight on WWE NXT at 8:00 p.m. EST include Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley taking on Mike Rallis and Elias Sampson, Emma versus Blue Pants (Leva Bates), Tyler Breeze in action against Bull Dempsey, Becky Lynch versus Jessie McKay, and Baron Corbin squaring off with Angelo Dawkins. After his television debut airs tonight, Joe is also scheduled to go on the road with WWE NXT this week for some live events in the northeast. He will be wrestling at NXT house shows this weekend, starting tomorrow in Pittsburgh, Friday night in Cleveland, and Saturday night in Columbus. As John Canton of WhatCulture reported last week, Joe is expected to be a major focus of the NXT brand moving forward. With Kevin Owens making a full-time transition to the main roster and Sami Zayn recovering from major surgery, NXT is in need of main eventers moving forward. Joe and Finn Balor are expected to carry the banner throughout the summer.
