Several WWE Stars Suspend Their Twitch Streams
"This isn't goodbye, it's see you later".
A number of WWE stars have put their Twitch streams on hiatus whilst they hold talks with company officials about how best to proceed.
News leaked earlier this month that the promotion would be tightening its grip on all third party streaming. As a result, AJ Styles, Zelina Vega, Cesaro and Mia Yim have all announced that they're suspending their Twitch channels for the time being.
Yim thanked followers for their support, and added that this "isn't goodbye, it's see you later". Meanwhile, AJ echoed those sentiments on his own channel and told Discord fans, "this isn’t the end, it’s just a phase". Both expect to be back online sooner rather than later.
That depends on how those meetings with WWE go; talent are scheduled to sit down with management on Friday afternoon to discuss what's next.
29 October was exactly four weeks to the day from when WWE had made its move on third party services. Now, everyone must wait to find out what the outcome of these meetings is, but most wrestlers affected seem hopeful that they can work something out.
Sadly, the only game they're playing right now is the waiting one.
