Shawn Michaels is really flattered that Kazuchika Okada took time out to praise him recently - so much so that the WWE icon decided to return the favour during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated.
HBK said that he often ponders what it'd be like to see Okada in WWE. Then, he called the Japanese megastar a "fantastic talent" who could adjust to to the promotion's way of doing things. According to Shawn, that's just what the best wrestlers in the world can do.
They adjust, they adapt, they thrive.
Michaels also went on to describe Okada as an "unbelievably talented young man". It's no secret that this legend would enjoy seeing the former five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion ply his trade inside a WWE ring at some point in the future then.
Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer recently revealed that Okada will likely wrestle for AEW sooner rather than later, so WWE loyalists would have to wait for such a moment. Michaels doesn't seem to think it's an impossibility though.
Would you like to see it? Or, do you think Okada is better off splitting time between New Japan and AEW?
