Sheamus' Role At WWE WrestleMania 31 Decided

The Celtic Warrior will return this Sunday.

WWE has finalised Sheamus into the WrestleMania card this Sunday, according to a report from Dave Meltzer at f4wonline.com. There is currently no word what his role might be. Some have speculated for several weeks now that Sheamus could enter the Andre The Giant battle royal as a big surprise and win it, but with the recent news that WWE has bumped the battle royal onto the pre-show, that now seems unlikely as WWE would surely want Sheamus' return to have a notable impact. Other theories involve him entering the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match as the 8th man or potentially doing a run-in during the John Cena vs. Rusev match. Rusev was the last guy to feud with Sheamus before his injury but would WWE really care for John Cena to win with a run-in on Sunday? Another speculation has been as to whether Sheamus will return as a heel, potentially costing Daniel Bryan the ladder match to begin a long-planned feud between the two. With Brock Lesnar presumably off again after April until the summer, WWE finds themselves top-heavy on babyfaces with Cena, Reigns, Bryan, Orton and others and only Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt holding the banner for top-level, active heels. This imbalance could potentially convince WWE to bring the Irishman back as a heel. An attack on Daniel Bryan would kick-start this notion. One thing is for sure: folks will be looking on with interest to see Sheamus' role in 'Mania come Sunday. The Celtic Warrior is prepared to return after an almost 5 month layoff due to injury.
