This week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX suffered a slight overnight ratings drop, according to Showbuzz Daily.

The blue show brought in an average of 2.215 million viewers overnight, which was a decrease of 0.8% from the week prior. When it comes to the ever-important 18-49 demographic, SmackDown came away with a 0.6 score. This meant the WWE programme placed #2 on the night in that category behind Shark Tank.

Friday night's Survivor Series go-home show boasted some high profile appearances, with the likes of Drew McIntyre, Asuka and The New Day all invading the blue brand from Monday Night Raw. The "Tribal Chief" and Universal Champion Roman Reigns also cut another stellar promo on his Sunday night rival, referring to McIntyre as his "favourite number two".

The main event saw a returning Daniel Bryan - equipped with stylish new hairdo - overcoming the star who "kayfabe" injured him a few weeks earlier in Jey Uso. The last spots on SmackDown's Survivor Series teams were also confirmed, with Otis and Bayley being gifted positions and Natalya earning her way into the Women's team after dispatching Tamina.

Will SmackDown stay above the 2 million mark on the back of Sunday's big four PPV? Only time will tell.
