10 WWE Superstars That Were Pushed And Then Punished
10. Cesaro
Cesaro won the first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX back when we all thought it would be used as a platform to elevate the next main event star in WWE. However, as we all learned at this year's event, it would be more fitting to refer to the over the top rope spectacular as the 'Andre The Jobber Battle Royal. It's just a match that gives everyone employed by the WWE something to do during the biggest night of the year. Cesaro's WrestleMania moment of hoisting The Big Show over the top rope looked to have made him, and not for the first time. He started off his WWE career as the multi-lingual former rugby player, stealing former SmackDown General Manager's girlfriend, Aksana. He then went on to capture the United States Championship from Santino Marella when the belt used to be seemingly reserved for the next World Heavyweight Champion on Friday nights back then. Shortly after dropping the title to Kofi Kingston, The Swiss Superman was reportedly labelled boing by the powers that be (push number one coming to a conclusion) in the WWE and put into a tag team with Jack Swagger. That tag team, known of course as the The Real Americans, would go on to become of the the most over tag teams of the last 10 years. Then, THE big break that every superstar hopes for came about at Mania 30. And then things took a step up once more with the dream pairing with Paul Heyman. However, disappointingly, nothing came of either big scoops. A rivalry against Dolph Ziggler ensued before weeks upon weeks of jobbing to guys that were climbing up the WWE ladder while he was falling. Thankfully however, he looks to be getting another push with Tyson Kidd at the top of the tag team division. Nevertheless, it's certain that almost every member of the WWE Universe wants to see him in the main event picture of the singles roster although it remains to be seen if Vince McMahon et al are convinced...
