WWE has temporarily written Charlotte Flair off television so that the 12-time Women's Champion can undergo an undisclosed dental procedure.

This is according to Alex McCarthy, who reported as much on Wrestling Daily.

While there's no word on how long, exactly, Flair will be gone for, she isn't expected to miss a lot of time.

WWE handled Flair's absence by handing her a storyline $100,000 fine and indefinite suspension after this week's episode of Raw. The show saw Flair lose a match with Asuka following Rhea Ripley's intervention, prompting her to lash out and beat down referee Eddie Orengo, who counted the pin.

Authority figure Adam Pearce administered Flair's punishment on Raw Talk immediately after the main show.

Regardless of her dental work, it looks like Charlotte is enjoying her time away from Raw:-

Flair only returned to WWE television two weeks ago, having missed around a month after her brush with COVID-19. She immediately turned heel in a literal mic drop promo, then attacked Asuka and Ripley later on, reinserting herself into the Raw Women's Title picture after her WrestleMania 37 challenge to Asuka went unanswered.

WWE is yet to confirm who Ripley will defend against at WrestleMania Backlash next month.
