A WWE Hall Of Famer gave Becky Lynch some advice that definitely paid off.

Mick Foley convinced Becky Lynch not to leave WWE in 2018.

The legend told fans listening to his excellent 'Foley Is Pod' show that 'Big Time Becks' was seriously "down on herself" at the time, and privately confided in Mick that she was thinking about exploring options outside the company.

During their chats, Foley outright asked Lynch how much money she was making - he refused to divulge that info on the podcast, but did tell co-host Conrad Thompson that he was slightly taken aback by just how high a figure it was.

"I didn’t know that the money had picked up for the women to that extent", he said.

Mick appreciated why Becky was frustrated (WWE's creative team pretty much had nothing for her, and she was quickly turning into a peripheral character), but he encouraged her to ride it out then make the most of any small opportunity.

Later that year, Lynch turned into 'The Man', took off and eventually headlined WrestleMania 35 alongside Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. It's safe to say that Foley's advice paid off, and he's really glad it did.
