UFC Champion Ronda Rousey Talks Joining WWE

UFC Champion very interested in a WWE future down the road.

Ronda Rousey took part in an "Ask Me Anything" chat on Reddit and was specifically asked if she would consider going to WWE if she retired from UFC, where she is the Women's Bantamweight Champion. Here's how she responded: "Definitely. I loved being in Wrestlemania and will find a way to get back in the squared circle I just have no clue when. And any real wrestling fan would want to be surprised anyway."
What's prevented her from working for WWE more often is her UFC career because she is that company's biggest star and her fight from August 1 generated a lot of attention. A lot of WWE personnel were tweeting about her as well, including Triple H and Stephanie posting a picture of themselves in Rousey shirts. Rousey hasn't talked about retiring from UFC any time soon and at 28 years of age, there's no reason for her to stop. However, the competition for her isn't great and if she feels it isn't a challenge for her anymore then she might be willing to move on. Since Rousey is a WWE fan and has also started an acting career in recent years, it seems like WWE would be a good fit for her and of course the company wants to have her there as well.
