The next NXT TakeOver event may have just found its name, according to a report from PWInsider.
WWE have filed a trademark for the "NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver" title, with many now believing this could be the name given to the next black and gold special which, according to the WWE Network, looks to be going down on April 8 - the Thursday before WrestleMania 37.
The full trademark for Goods & Services reads as follows:
“The trademark was for Goods & Services for “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
On top of the event itself still being very much unconfirmed at this moment in time, there's also been talks of the potential TakeOver being a two-night affair, similar to last year's and the upcoming WrestleMania show. If this plan does come to fruition, it could involve Night One going down on the USA Network, with Night Two then airing on the WWE Network.
With just over a month to go before that April 8 date arrives, plans could still undoubtedly change. But, as of writing, it looks as though NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver could be coming to a Network near you in the not too distant future...
