Vince McMahon is back on WWE television, having returned to 'shake things up' at the top of last night's Raw broadcast.

Only time will tell if the Chairman is sincere, but while his televised character was in a positive mood during the announcement, it doesn't sound like he was quite so cheery after Sunday's TLC pay-per-view.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince, like the rest of us, felt disappointed by the long-awaited Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose clash, which was met by chants of 'this is boring' throughout. More than that, Meltzer reports that Vince was 'furious' with how it went.

This is understandable. What was billed as a bitter, heated brawl played out more like an exhibition match. Rather than ripping into each other, Rollins and Ambrose traded holds and rest spots, built little in the way of drama or heat, and eventually wrapped their uneventful non-match in just under 30 minutes, with 'The Lunatic Fringe' emerging victorious.

Whether or not McMahon's apparent rage impacts his long-term plans remains to be seen, as there was talk of Rollins potentially wrestling Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. Whatever happens, it sounds like he and Ambrose have much atoning to do after TLC.
