Vince McMahon's Reason For Returning To WWE SmackDown Revealed
The WWE Chairman will welcome us to the ThunderDome.
In some highly intriguing news, Vince McMahon will be opening tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE revealed the news, with the Chairman and CEO set to address the watching audience as WWE introduces its new ThunderDome concept.
McMahon will be in attendance to give the official introduction to ThunderDome, with WWE labelling this new setup as being a “state-of-the-art set complete with video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drones cameras”.
From tonight, all WWE Raws, SmackDowns, and PPVs will be emanating from Orlando’s Amway Center through until the end of October – and right now it appears that all of these shows will take place within the ThunderDome backdrop.
As for tonight’s SmackDown, in addition to Vinny Mac opening the show and giving his grand seal of approval to ThunderDome, we’ll also get AJ Styles defending his Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Hardy, SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defend against Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado of Lucha House Party, Big E will face-off in a hoss fight with Sheamus, and Universal Champion Braun Strowman will be making an appearance ahead of his match against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt this Sunday.
