Triple H had high praise for NXT Champion Adam Cole during a media call after TakeOver: In Your House.
'The Game' put Cole over huge by saying he was a "sure bet" to steal any show he was part of. Going further, Trips also said, "If I was to put (his ring work) aside and say the professional, the leader, the example, the human being - I don’t know that I can speak any higher of anyone than Adam Cole".
That's a massive compliment to Cole as a man.
Triple H added that Cole is a "consummate pro" who he loves working with, and said he enjoys setting the table for the NXT Champ to smash it every single week; Trips was speaking after Cole's 'Backlot Brawl' with Velveteen Dream at TakeOver, and gushed with praise for what both guys achieved.
He pointed out that nobody is "as consistently good as he (Cole) is", but wanted to give props regarding how Adam behaves behind the curtain too.
Recent reports suggest that speculation about Cole's WWE contract was misplaced. Now, it appears his current deal has 18 months left to run, not the two that was previously reported.
