Last night's episode of WWE SmackDown brought a new mystery: just who is the (presumed) woman in the red-soled heels?
Provoking that question was a set of vignettes which depicted nothing more than a pair of legs, elegantly striding around a hazy, purple room. The unknown owner of said legs was also draping a fur coat as they strutted around the place. We saw nothing from the knee up - the only other clue is that the stilettos had red bottoms.
Obviously, this is all very little to go on, and social media has been abuzz with speculation over the identity of the nameless pins.
Following the IIconics' split this past week on Raw, many have tipped Peyton Royce to be the woman in the shoes. WWE are understood to be preparing a major singles push for the Australian, so a SmackDown switch disassociating her from Billie Kay makes a lot of sense.
NXT's Chelsea Green has also been namedropped, with a call-up to the main roster said to be imminent.
Beyond those two names, it's really anybody's guess, with potential candidates suggested ranging from deposed Impact champion Tessa Blanchard (this seems a very poor fit) to a returning Melina.
No doubt WWE will continue the teases next week, before randomly dropping the whole thing altogether.
