Who Steve Austin Thinks Is The "Best Wrestler Right Now"

It's not Randy Orton...

The final episode of The Undertaker's 'Last Ride' documentary series on WWE Network covered a lot of ground, but there was one sneaky little talking head moment that might've slipped fan attention.

During the doc, and in between talking about his respect for 'Taker, Steve Austin suddenly declared that AJ Styles is the "best wrestler walking on two feet right now". That added to the high praise AJ received from Triple H, Michelle McCool, Edge and 'The Deadman' himself on the same episode.

WWE probably didn't make a huge deal out of it because Austin's words don't exactly echo the ongoing "Greatest Wrestler Ever" storyline for Randy Orton. Only one worker can be the best around, after all, and 'Stone Cold' thinks it's the new Intercontinental Champion.

Styles must be immensely proud whenever he hears company legends describe him this way. He was once considered by many to be the kind of pro wrestler Vince McMahon would ruin, but his four-year stint in WWE has been sparkling thus far.

Austin stopped short of saying he'd love to have wrestled AJ too. He doesn't want to reignite that particular rumour.
