Who's In Line For A HUGE AEW Push?

The future is now...

Recent AEW signing Will Hobbs is set for a big push over the next few months.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that officials behind the scenes are incredibly high on the newcomer and want him to make a major splash. AEW were impressed by Hobbs' performances on episodes of Dark, and decided to put him in the 'Casino Battle Royale' at All Out to see how he would fare.

It looks like big Will did his job during that match.

Hobbs is set to team with Jon Moxley and Darby Allin against Taz triumvirate Lance Archer, Brian Cage and Ricky Starks on next week's episode of Dynamite. That's a massive vote of confidence in the newbie - teaming with stars the level of Mox and Darby means AEW are intrigued to see how Will does in such a featured spot.

Will he sink or will he swim? If All Out is anything to go by, then it's the latter.

Meltzer has an inside line to things happening backstage in AEW, so it bodes well that he's been told Hobbs is someone the promotion considers a future star.
