The Miz recently returned from the filming of The Marine 3 and successfully defeated Christian at Raw 1000 to win the Intercontinental Championship. This feud could be really interesting if done well and not made to make Miz look like a undeserved champion. He has been on a huge downward trajectory since his WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 27 and a feud against Orton could be exactly what he needs to start the climb back up to the main event level. Due to the fact that The Miz is the Intercontinental Champion it makes this scenario a little less likely to happen and perhaps for the best. The title should be used to push younger wrestlers.
