WWE: 5 WCW Match Types That Should Return

4. Chamber of Horrors Match

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glzNVhUxj2U In 1991 at WCW'S annual Halloween Havoc PPV the promotion introduced the first and only Chamber of Horrors Match. Two teams of four entered a steel cage decked out with headstones, shrunken heads, coffins and of course an electric chair. The goal to get a member of the opposing team into the electric chair which had been dubbed the chair of torture and flip the switch. No pinfalls or submissions in this one folks just an old fashion electrocution. The match itself was terrible, sloppy work from eight men packed into the enclosed area losing more space was the Chair of torture and it's smaller cage were entered in. But all things considered the campy concept good work perfectly in today's WWE especially at Halloween. It doesn't have to be a PPV match, in fact it shouldn't be. It should be placed mid-card on the Raw before Halloween. With three hours to fill and a nicely stacked roster this match is perfect. Or would be with a few slight tweaks. The Chair of Torture doesn't need its own cage, have it set up at ringside or in the center of the ring. Keep the two teams of four and set them lose on each other with Halloween themed weapons. Santino Marella hits Heath Slater with a Skelton, Great Kahali gets his head dunked in a bubbling cauldron, and of course it all comes to a head with a shocking ending when Hornswoggle lands in the Chair of Torture. Match of the year it will never be, but there are worse ways to fill time.
