2. Cody Rhodes

For some reason Rhodes hasnt featured much on SmackDown since he lost the Intercontinental Championship, but its time to find him a good feud and start his push to the top. I dont think hes quite well-rounded as someone like Ziggler, CM Punk or Daniel Bryan, but he has the potential to be. He needs to find a character that suits him. Over the past few years weve seen him try out a few different personalities, some of which have worked, but he now needs one to stick with. The problem for Rhodes is that you cant just be a generic cocky heel; you need a reason for being that way. Sandow has his intelligence (The Genius), Ziggler has his perfection (Ricky Martel) and CM Punk seems to be heading down the route of respect (Undertaker 01/02). None of these ideas are particularly new but as long as they are slightly different from the original version, they can be re-used. Inside the ring Rhodes is pretty much spot on but hes obviously lacked the top-notch feuds that have been gifted to Dolph Ziggler. If he was allowed to go up against someone like Ziggler, once he has won his world title, that match has the potential to be in the same league as Punk/Bryan.
